I cannot install the HP DJ990cxi printer connected to usb. There is no usb device (there should be /dev/usb/lp0 ?) I tried in /etc/modules.conf with "alias usb-interface usb-uhci" and "alias usb-interface uhci". But nothing worked.
I tried all possibilties with cups + accociated files from Mdk 8.2 and also with latest cups + Co from cooker. But no success. Up to 8.2 RC1 I had no problems to install HP990cxi. Any help will be appreciated. W. Kasberg
