Very likely freetype bug. They managed to break things between 2.1.3rc2 
and 2.1.3rc3, investigating the changes.

OOo again, do SAL_EMBEDDED_BITMAP_PRIORITY=0 ooffice  
and check whether it still crashes.

this time works fine, i tried to reproduce the bug but it works fine 
now! I can even open the documents that hung it up before...
