I finally made it work. I couldn't get it to work with a VooDoo3 that I have, was working on before on beta 3, I so switched to a NVidia TNT2-64 that I also have, compiled and install the kernel and glx drivers and voila! q3demo Works! [Cooker] quake3 on cooker since devfs
Hi, I am still having troubles with quake3arena since devfs in cooker. Anybody else experiencing the same problems cause it is dreadfully quiet on deja. I am using cooker with my own custom kernel 2.4.10. _Everything_ works splendidly except for quake3. Typical error message: --- sound initialization --- Received signal 11, exiting... It looks like it simply can't find the sound device? If you need any further info please let me know. Cya, Han.
