I have a Sound Blaster AWE 64 gold sound card in my secondary computer... I could
yank it an swap them. BUT the awe 64 doesn't support software mixing. I am a DJ on
http://www.fakeradio.com
And I am able to play mp3s with another program while encoding with G2 encoder.
(this is under Windoze mind you) I was hoping to keep this feature alive by
utilizing the aureal drivers.
Is Linux and aureal and diamond enemies or something?

Took me awhile to find drivers ... and they are reference drivers at that. It
would be nice to be able to TRY it at least.

Take Care

I am on my way to UN windows. I found reference drivers for my vortex 1 sound
card. I ran sndconfig and it shows the new vortex drivers... I go to the next
step .. and it says .. "sound card not supported". If I have the drivers...
and it "sees" them. Why can I not try them to see if I can get my sound to
work? Is there a work around for this?
