RE: [Cooker] [RPM] mplayer-0.18-0.pre5.1mdk
What happened to this package? I can't seem to find it. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Guillaume Rousse Sent: Saturday, August 11, 2001 11:45 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Cooker] [RPM] mplayer-0.18-0.pre5.1mdk Penguin Liberation Front strikes again ! --- Name: mplayer Relocations: (not relocateable) Version : 0.18 Vendor: MandrakeSoft Release : 0.pre5.1mdk Build Date: Sat Aug 11 19:34:46 2001 Install date: (not installed) Build Host: silbermann.snv.jussieu.fr Group : Video Source RPM: (none) Size: 884049 License: GPL Packager: Guillaume Rousse [EMAIL PROTECTED] URL : http://mp.dev.hu Summary : The media player for linux Description : MPlayer is a movie player for LINUX. It plays most MPEG, AVI and ASF files, supported by many native and win32 DLL codecs. You can watch VCD, DVD and even DivX movies too. The another big feature of mplayer is the wide range of supported output drivers. It works with X11, Xv, DGA, OpenGL, SVGAlib, fbdev, but you can use SDL (and this way all drivers of SDL) and some lowlevel card-specific drivers (for Matrox/3dfx/SiS) too! Most of them supports software or hardware scaling, so you can enjoy movies in fullscreen. And what about the nice big antialiased shaded subtitles (7 supported types!!!) with hungarian, english, cyrillic, czech, korean fonts, and OSD? Note: Win32 DLLS are not included in this package. You have to download (try mplayer download page http://mplayer.dev.hu/homepage/dload.html) and install them manually in /usr/lib/win32. Note: before using, you have to copy/symlink the codecs.conf file found in documentation directory in your $HOME/.mplayer directory --- Sat Aug 11 2001 Guillaume Rousse [EMAIL PROTECTED] 0.18-0.pre5.1mdk - first mandrake release -- http://bohm.snv.jussieu.fr/~rousse/plf

Ainsi parlait Chris Edwards : What happened to this package? I can't seem to find it. You'll find it on my own web page, whose URL is at the end of the annoucement (http://bohm.snv.jussieu.fr/~rousse/plf). All rpm announcement on cooker are only contribution proposal, that can eventually be included into official contrib if they agree to mandrake policy. In the case of divx player, they won't be. Caution, this one has some problems, it does'nt work anymore on my own box :-( -- Guillaume Rousse [EMAIL PROTECTED] GPG key http://bohm.snv.jussieu.fr/~rousse/gpgkey.html
