Noticed something.  Is there any chance of the new Apache put out to
replace the 1.3.12, which is now 1.3.14 which is released yesterday?  I do
not think it would take much time to have it ready for release into the RC
Version.

 stable.  Get linuxconf fixed and I don't really see any reason it

 gold (except maybe to wait for KDE2 final).

 Also I thought I'd point out that my fresh install via the network has
 increased in speed 3 fold.  Used to talk an hour and a half to
 run from a local
 mirror I keep.  Only takes 30 minutes now.

But this is different, the new Apache is also a security update, so
what is the meaning of not including it, only to release it couple of
days later after the official release as an update

 This is true for many apps:
 enlightenment (0.16.4-0.16.5)
 gkrellm (0.10.5-1.0)
 gnome-libs(1.2.4-1.2.5)
 ORBit(O.5.3-0.5.2)
 linux-logo(3.05-3.9b1)
 etc...
 As only bugfixes are allowed, i understand they won't be upgraded for
 the 7.2. But will this also apply to KDE2 ? It would be weird to release
 beta version, when final release is so close.
 
 There are also some major move from commercial to opensource that should
 be included in contribs IMHO:
 openoffice
 netbeans
