You're right... you don't need it... But I am beta testing Kde2
and I found qt-2.1.1 there and it worked with Kvirc ;o)

I think it's coming from kde2 libs.
You must install and use the ones from cooker.

and finally Kvirc worked!

But I had to download the tar file and compile it myself...
the rpm package found in http://www.kvirc.net didn't work.

PS. While being at the kvirc site look for the RealituX script...
