I'm having problems with apache (don't know if its the same problems you had) trying to start httpd at command line dumps core as does checking config files for errors with -t or -T On my laptop it works fine which was an update to the latest version - on fresh install with latest version it dies. apache-1.3.19-2mdk apache-common-1.3.19-2mdk apache-conf-1.3.19-2mdk apache-modules-1.3.19-2mdk strace httpd (UPDATE) hehe ok - as I wrote this I looked at the strace and noticed it was having problems with my domain name saying it was penguinfarm, when on this machine it should resolve blazeconnect.net So anyway - I checked /etc/hosts and the only entry was for 127.0.0.1, I added in an entry for the eth0 interface address and it started apache ok. dhcpcd-1.3.19pl4-1mdk Was installed and is now being used from install.
