 after I have KDE3 installed, I wanted to try the 3.1 CVS version. I
compiled
 everything and it is running fairly well, but I also want to add a
session
 entry for it, so I can start KDE 3.1 CVS from kdm. How do I do that?
 

look into /etc/X11/wmsession.d

copy KDE, modify in obvious way and restart your system. Sessions will
be entered in both kdm and gdm (if available). Or run fndSession.

This reminds me to the fact that I find it annoying that man chksession
is still talking about a file called /etc/X11/window-manager, which
has been replaced by wmsession.d a long time ago. If everybody agrees
I will make a patch for this manpage?
