The logo is a new one I have not seen before. It is a screen wide logo with the Mandrake icon (blue hat, wand with yellow star) on the left 1/3 of the screen and "Linux Mandrake" on the right 2/3. The loading process gets to exactly 4 dots: Loading cdrom.rdz Nora Etukudo wrote: On Thu, Dec 23, 1999 at 01:57:17AM -0700, Axalon Bloodstone wrote: Which logo, and exactly how far does it go before stoping? "Samuel McCloud" [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: Falling back to text mode will tick many users off. Especially those that dont know how to use linux or those that want an easy install. Its also bad press/reviews. Just more stuff people can say that doesnt work. He didn't meant text install. He meant syslinux in text. That means no nice Hat at the very beginning of install, that's all. When install kernel is loaded, it is the same.
