Course that's FTP, might be able to get away with it with rsync.

Guillaume Cottenceau wrote:

There must be something wrong here:

1. They have been placed under Mandrake and not Mandrake-devel,
where they belong. That classifies these isos as released Mandrake
7.2, no longer under further development, yet they also carry the
magic word 7.2beta in their names. Were all these major kerfuffles
intended? I can make only nonsense of what I see.

2. the naming of 'rc' will prove inadequate, surely? Up to this
point this beta has been known as "Release Candidate 1". I am sure
(what with the KDE2 situation, etc.) that this will not be the final
release candidate, so why was the numbering dropped?

3. IMO any thing which leaves unresolved errors in the install error
log or which shows FAILURE messages during bootup and bootdown, as
the current beta does, cannot even begin to be considered as a
release candidate for DrakX. Such errors prohibit proper testing of
the installed product. The installer and the installed product must
be treated sequentially as different products. We have not yet
achieved a good DrakX installer.

An rsync upload uploads into a hidden file of the same name with an
extra extension, which is what you are seeing two attempts at.

You must wait until the upload has finished, at which time the
correct hidden file will be renamed. You may have to manually remove
the erroneous one if the uploader neglects to do so, since it WILL be
downloaded.
