Any attempt at categorizing software will fail since lots of packages fall into two or more categories. Like ``net'' seems nice but nearly anything falls into that category. So better make a simple one that doesn't pretend to be precise. I really do understand the problem, but doing cat /usr/share/doc/rpm-4.0.4/GROUPS reveals a whole bunch of useless groups as I see it. In my sphere I have only Monitoring, Networking/Other, Networking/WWW and System/Servers to play with...
