Dunno what he's talking about, but the latest (and only) version on
http://www.abisource.com/download/ is 0.9.5.

The only way I could find 0.9.6.1 is by going to
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/abiword/ and see what files are
available.  Also the abiword project page at sourceforge.net doesn't
list 0.9.6.1:
