For the Cooker versions, couldn't you use a Cooker mirror list? It's
very important to get the updates to Cooker on a daily basis if you are
testing. Then, before the release of 7.0, the 7.0 mirror list would be
put in?

Work yes, does anything usefull no. You won't see any functionality until
7.0 has updates, 7.0 not being out yet... it does nothing productive right
now..

if your speaking of MandrakeUpdate, its purpose is *not* to work on beta
versions. It is only for the main versions updates.

a thing quite different you cant test is urpmi. It works nicely...
