Re: [Cooker] XFree4 and XFdrake Voodoo 3 3000
Ok, everythings is there: /dev/3dfx ( Device3dfx rpm is already installed.) I did not mention that I change the /etc/X11/X link to /usr/X11R6/bin/XFree86 To make Xfree 4 starting instead of XFree86-SVGA... Maybe I miss something somewhere. But the same problem was happening during installation setup. Anyway, I give up! I stop disturbing you with that. Now I wait for the real Xfree 4.0 release(I hope this one is not) But damnit! It is frustrating!!!
Re: [Cooker] XFree4 and XFdrake Voodoo 3 3000
Make sure you have a /dev/3dfx entry. It is normally in the Device3Dfx rpm, but it is notincluded in the mdk rpm. Here is my XF86Config file. It is for dual head, but you can see what needs to be there for the Voodoo to work.
