Cdrecord 1.9 (i586-mandrake-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2000 Jörg Schilling cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open SCSI driver. cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root. gotcha I think I know the problem the installer didnt pass the option of hdd=ide-scsi to the boot loader that would probably make the difference. i'll try it and post back. For some reason I just didn't relate it to the cdrom untill now.
