I think it's the same problem. But I don't know how
it happens and if it happens with 9.0. The fact that
the locking is not detected is probably the same
problem.

Software Sources manager is the icon name under packages - MenuDrake
tells me the executable behind the icon is that script.

The rpmdrake version I have is:  rpmdrake-2.0-9mdk
