I am running cooker on 3 systems with slightly varied hardware and cpu and with some variance in the pkgs installed. On 2 of these systems I have no problem with either galeon or mozilla. On the third system I can dup all the problems previously noted with both browsers. I think I may have accidentally stumbled upon the cause, but at the moment I am still just guessing. The system which exhibits the problems is the Only 1 of the 3 on which I have installed kde3. Could the current builds of mozilla and galeon be afflicted by an inability to handle finding both kdebase-nsplugins and kdebase3-nsplugins or 1 of the other libs which do not exist on a system to which kde3 is not installed? As I said, I am just guessing. It would be of interest if both those who are having the problem and those who are not would note if they have kde3 installed. Charles

The new Mozilla is doing something similar to me, too. I can still edit the text in the bar, but the cursor never changes location. So, even though the cursor isn't keeping pace with where I'm actually typing (and, in fact, isn't moving from the far left side of the bar at all), I can still edit things. I've found it's not only the location bar either.
