I use Opera 6 Dynamic. It crashes every so often (most likely due to
library issues), but otherwise it works well enough (especially since it
auto-resumes where I last was (give or take a couple of pages)).

Using Opera6-static.
Works well, including all plugins -even java.

Opera? Are you actually able to use Opera? I wonder, because I'm not,
since Opera is linked to some old version of libpng, which is no longer
part of Cooker.

Though true if libstdc++2.10-2.96-0.79mdk is still installed rpmdrake
runs without any problem.

 rpm -qa |grep libstdc
libstdc++3.1-3.1.1-0.1mdk
libstdc++2.10-2.96-0.79mdk
libstdc++3.0-3.0.4-5mdk

 rpm -qa |grep gcc
gcc3.0-3.0.4-5mdk
gcc-3.1.1-0.1mdk

Sometimes keeping upgraded to cooker has benefits over fresh installs.

It is a qt2-dependency. And since there is no qt2 in srpms it looks like
it is on the remove list. What would be not so nice for the people who
use opera and a ton of other stuff. Looks a little bit premature for
that.

{pts/0}% rpm -qf /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3
libstdc++2.10-2.96-0.79mdk

rpmdrake has not been rebuilt with new gcc yet.
