I think you should look a bit more carefully at the date on the article,
specifically, I think it was posted about 27 minutes too early ...

Maybe we should post one about Mandrake switching to a 3 year release
cycle and apt to be more Debian-like ;-).

Yes, I also just read on linuxfr.org that Suse just bought Mandraksoft.
I think it will be like that all day long :)

I agree, this could effectively be a great improvement of using up2date
instead of urpmi, I will think about this.

Again, joining united linux will remove some mandrake specifics too.
