The correct designation is PPPoE not ppoa and it is already supportted if
you will read the docs and How To.
If your moden is the FieldStream 4060 it will not work in Linux (no driver
and as far as I know no one working to develope one)
You could use the option I choose which was to DCHP a Windows machine to use
ADSL.

Ok, if you mean pppoe, it is fully supported with the mandrake 7.2. Use
draknet.
