I need one last one: libxml2-2.5.4. The subbordinate rpms from that src rpm were there (-devel, -python,-utils) but not the main package. I was going to build the src rpm, but it needed gtk-doc, which needed a new libslt1 package, which needed libxml2-2.5.4. :( rob

I just rsynced everything I have here that wasn't in Paris, so maybe the missing stuff will start showing up. Processor Speed and /proc/cpufreq
I was reading through the gentoo ppc faq at: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-ppc-faq.xml If you look at part 2 (Laptop Support) you'll see that when apple's laptops boot up they're automatically set at reduced processor speed. I won't repeat what is already in that document but what I can say is that with the benh kernel the /proc/cpufreq interface is not there. Also, my 867 Mhz PowerBook is running at 533 Mhz. I'd like my 334 Mhz back, please. ;) OT: It says alot for linux that my system feels a little more responsive then in OS X, even with a 334 Mhz handicap. :) rob
