Thanks!

2002-03-10 Thread Louis-Pierre Morin

I would simply like to post a big thanks to Stew Benedict, and also Ben
Reser (for is participation and help) to this mailing list. I mean, I see
complains everywhere, but never good postings. Thanks for bringing Mandrake
to the Mac PPC platform. One day, it will overrule i386 distributions.

I'm willing to buy an internal B&W G3 modem to fit on my mac since my
Best Data USB modem won't be supported by either Mandrake or MacOS X.

Is there a difference between Apple's intenal G3 modem and GV
internal modem?

Are these modems supported in mandrake ppc?

thanks

Hi again

Just wondered how to make the visor usb cradle work into GNOME. I
plugged it into the usb keyboard on my mac.

Also, if someone can point me to any linux-usb guide or manual,
etc... It would be appreciated

Thanks

Just wondering if Mandrake 8 support the BestData SP Usb modem.

Also wondering if it supports mac-on-linux right out in the kernel.

Is there support for french-canadian keyboard. I installed using Can
and got an azerty keyboard instead of ISO in gnome and KDE.

How well is behaving Netatalk in Mandrake. I'm thinking of running it
as an enterprise server with samba. Is it worth a try?

Thanks

Ok, ok, I'll get final tomorrow, just wanted to make it work..

It appears directly after the yaboot boot. Some graphics apear
(mainly a bunch of fonts) and then the kernel panic right over these
graphics.
I really can't boot into the installer.

Mac B&W Rev. 2 (yosemite I think) w/ 320 M RAM, Generic IDE drive
plus 40G Maxtor IDE Drive as slave.
