(I'm just trying to close the issues from the last beta that I brought up). Other than kdm and printer setup I haven't had any problems so far with beta2. -- Ben Reser <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://ben.reser.org What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy? - Ghandi
Re: Printer setup in drakx
As a workaround, you can go to the select individual packages screen in the installer and choose any of the Cups items. The dependency check will get the other items. Ignore the printer setup in the instller. Once you have finished installing, log in and go to the Configuration > Printing > Kups or Cups Web admin in the applicaitons menu to set up your printing. This workaround will get it going. Best... Tom L Ben Reser wrote: > 8.2b1 install: > I click on Remote CUPS server button to setup the printer on my > network. It said footmatic rpm wasn't found. > >
