For those really frustrating moments when you can't seem to get the
system to reboot or power down. Here is the apple URL for
resetting the PMU for various ibooks/powerbooks.
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=14449 Which is the
newer systems.
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=58416 Which is all the
older systems.

ctl-alt-del or
halt or
kill the installer process
Don't remember offhand which of the above are available, but some of
them
should be.
