We do include both of those drivers, as modules, and I can personally
attest to using mesh quite a bit on my Powerbook.  To boot from BootX, you
will need an initrd image with the SCSI module.  Check my webpage below,
and then set that up as a ramdisk in BootX.

They should also compile fine if you want to build a monolithic kernel.
