Re: [CnD] Keurig
the K machine can be annoying to deal with, but some models have the buttons you can push. also, you need to know how to from time to time clean out the needle areas and the machine running either vinegarr or lemon juice or their own desolution product. the machine is great and I love mine, but we have had several times when I had to work on the thing, but it is still working thank god, smiles. There are about six buttons on the front; one lets me select the size cup, one starts the brewing for coffee/tea, one is to rinse out where the pod was just used, if I remember another does just hot water for things like instant oatmeal or bullion. There’s a rocker switch on the bottom back side that does a reset when/if it doesn’t start reheating the water or you just want to reset your settings. Not so difficult once you get the hang of it. Get someone to go over the buttons when you first get it and you should be okay from there. You can easily feel all the buttons unless they’ve changed the setup over the years. First, the Living Well Health Master. You can turn whole fruits and vegetables into vitamin-rich meals and not have any wsate. You can mix things like apples, spinach, broccoli, strawberries; whatever fruit you want together and create a healthy drink that isi packed with nutrition. So if you hate broccoli or spinach, you can disguise them in a drink. You can make homemade ice cream and sorbet using nothing but fruit that has been frozen and maybe a little honey to sweeten it up. It's great for those who are trying to lose weight. hi i have bought an apple slicer from amazon for about $8 or something like that. i love this one becasue after you push down to slice, you turn it over and flip the little plate down and it pushes agains the slices. the slices pop right out of the slicer. the others that i had gotten, i had to pretty muchpull the lices out of the slicer which was dangerious since they are sharp. here is the link for it at amazon http://www.amazon.com/Progressive-International-Wedge-Apple-Slicer/dp/B004S67UHS/ref=sr_1_12?s=home-gardenie=UTF8qid=1328105070sr=1-12 On 2/1/2012 8:44 AM, Nicole Massey wrote: I got both the slicer that the ex took when we divorced and my corer that I still have in the gadgets section of the grocery store. Hi alex. A NuWave oven is about the size of a microwave but is taller and takes up less space on the counter. It cooks with the three different types of heat: convention, convection and infrared. Your food cooks in half the time and uses less energy than an electric stove. If I'm cooking boneless, skinless chicken breast, I can splash water on it, add my seasonings and place in the NuWave. It will still cook more quickly than doing so in a standard oven. The recipes are slightly different as far as times to cook and the other things you can do that you wouldn't think about doing in the ven. For example, you can dry fruits in it, bake potato chips from scratch...those are just a couple things. I've tried the recipes that came with the device and I just wondered if anybody uses it and does things that may not be in that book...along with the times. I'm not sure of anything dripping from the top. It could be a different version from what I have.
