Hi,
Thanks for correcting me on the spelling of the website. And for
everyone's feedback.
It was a curiosity question.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

2020-07-31 Thread Lisa Belville via Cookinginthedark

Yes, unfortunately, the app is useless.

The site with the correctly spelled Yummly does work and is accessible,
just cluttered.?? I went to the browse link at the www.yummly.com site
and found a really good sounding turkey casserole.

You do need to be sure that you're spelling the web site name correctly,
otherwise, whatever browser you're using will take you to a site
advertising that the incorrectly spelled web site name can be
purchased.?? these are not web sites, just pages trying to sell things
and they do have a ton of obnoxious ads.

Hi.  I know the iOS app isn't accessible.  I recall trying the web site
and it wasn't anything to write home about.  This was last year, so
things may have changed.

You can also use it as a site. I didn't use its search feature extensively,
but I have run into recipes from that site in my Google searches for
recipes. I just now tried the site, and it is workable.

I looked at it too. At the top of the page there is an accessability
feedback form. When I went to a recipe category, no recipe came up, but
instead adds for a smart thermometer, and other stuff came up; a lot of
sales reterick. I'm not sure why anyone would want to look at this
website. I like to use something like recipes.com I can't think of
others right now cuz I'm old, but I will1 (smile) At some point!

Linda

p.s. hope everyone is enjoying their Thurs. and staying cool, and healthy.
