I have the iGrill2 from iDevices. There is a base unit that the thermometers
plug into. Mine can take up to 4 probes, but it came with 2. The base unit
runs on AA batteries and pairs with a smartphone or tablet. The app is
accessible, allowing you to see the temperature readings from each probe.
There are also presets to choose from, depending on what you are cooking. For
example, you can select chicken, turkey, pork chops, etc. Depending on which
preset you select, the app will alert you when the temperature of your meat is
near or at the predetermined temperature considered safe for consumption.
