The Project Manager is the forefront member of a cross-functional team responsible for the successful delivery of IT projects to our business clients. The PM must possess strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, work well with clients and internal teams, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Project Manager also has to have the ability to balance simultaneous projects and in a fast-paced environment. Required: PMP certification 5+ years of project management experience required. This experience should include at least 5 years of each of the following: Experience managing cost, scope, schedule, and quality for medium-sized, cross-departmental projects: multiple teams multiple, department level sponsors significant, internal divisional impact targeted, external customer impact Experience managing projects following a lifecycle methodology Experience delivering technology solutions using project management best practices Experience negotiating and deciding issues amongst teams and stakeholders related to project content, project execution, and team interaction; understands when to escalate issues to management Experience establishing and maintaining lines of communication with: team members, Community of Practice, business and technical staff, business sponsors, stakeholders, governance body, senior management Experience building a project management discipline, including growing institutional knowledge regarding industry standards for project managemen Expert knowledge and understanding of software development practices and methodologies Must be self-starting problem solver, flexible, organized, team oriented and customer service focused Demonstrates a big picture focus and a fearless approach to decision-making Experience establishing solid client relationships and setting expectations internally with client throughout project Acts as project expert retaining and communicating all project-related history Optional Financial industry experience is desired Experience in agile approaches to project management a plus Thanks and Regards. . .
