*Responsibilities*
The scope of work for this project is to develop, integrate, and update
software systems for:
1. Driver's license issuance and credentialing
2. Vehicle registration and titling
3. Motor vehicle regulation compliance
4. Commercial motor vehicle services
5. Motor vehicle dealer licensing
6. Supporting administrative systems
7. Other features and functions as designated by the Motor Vehicle
Administrator
*Expected Deliverables*
1. Project implementation includes business logic support on-line systems,
batch programming, data extraction, and reports involving all business
areas listed above.
2. Code, test, promote, and interact with impacted users ensuring that
solution meets requirements
3. Release of object code that meets ITD quality standards and is in
conformance with established procedures.
4. Interface with technical and non-technical staff as needed in the
execution of the above in an Agile/Scrum environment.
5. Provide daily and weekly status to the development manager.
*Specific Skills Required*
1. Minimum of four (4) years of programming experience using JCL, CICS,
COBOL.
2. Experience with Datacom/DB database management
3. Ability to communicate technically (verbally and in writing) with other
developers, system architects, and technical managers.
4. Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with non-technical
business subject matter experts, stakeholders and project managers for
clarifications, to define rules, and to provide explanations.
5. C#.Net experience in a web-based and desktop environment; SQL database
development experience; report development with SSRS; understanding of data
communication between disparate systems; programming of major enhancement
features and bug fixes to existing system.
6. Prior experience with the following systems:
a. Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or later
b. Microsoft TFS 2012 or later
c. Microsoft Dynamic CRM 2011 or later
7. Experience with Agile development practices highly desirable.
8. Preference will be given to those with DMV programming experience
