Express (APEX)

•  Advanced knowledge in APEX

Expertise in PLSQL, JAVA and UNIX shell scripting

 

As a Database Platform Analyst, you will serve as liaison between IT and 
business end-users. Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full 
lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, 
developing analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitoring 
performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

This role will also be responsible for identifying, assess, and documenting 
requirements, recommending business priorities, and advising business on 
options, risks, and costs. Analyze impact of proposed solution across the 
business, develop use cases to explain/demonstrate 
requirements/specifications to IT team, and contribute a business or 
process perspective during design reviews. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

 

•   8+ years of relevant work experience with data management 
preferred.

•   Strong knowledge with columnar/column-store/column-oriented 
databases

•   Must have experience managing Enterprise level oracle clustered 
environments (RAC/ASM/Data Guard replication)

•   . Experience in Python is an added advantage

•   Strong understanding of implementation of backup/recovery 
procedures using Oracle RMAN/Export/Import Data pump tools

•   Oracle APEX administration experience

•   Data profiling through SQL queries and analysis tools (OEM)

•   Interpret, summarize and present findings in understandable 
documentation that may include charts, graphs, reports etc…

•   Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and 
business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis

•   Awareness of the business and IT strategy

•   Basic understanding of the company's business practices and 
familiarity with the company's products and services

•   Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid 
experience in writing functional and technical specifications

•   Line of Business experience a plus

•   Experience managing stake-holders

•   Past hands on experience with massively parallel processing 
database technology

•   Past experience with Oracle, Exadata, Teradata and Hadoop is a 
plus

•   Ability to work in a fast paced environment
