Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support the centralized report
development team for Marketing, Sales and Service. The BSA will be the
primary liaison between the business clients requesting reports and the
technical team delivering them. The BSA will be expected to perform as the
Scrum Master for the team, working to ensure the team is fully functional
and productive.
* Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:*
- Perform as Scrum Master
- Be an advocate for Agile delivery
- Work with business users to understand, review and prioritize Report
requests
- Lead requirements gathering sessions as needed
- Communicate out Report backlog and delivery schedule to stakeholders
- Work closely with Report Developers and monitor, control and manage
overall Report delivery
- Perform data analysis and testing using SQL
- Become subject matter expert in various areas within the Data Warehouse
and other source systems
- Identify opportunities to enhance team practices and processes and drive
adoption
Desired Skills:
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills – THIS
IS CRITICAL!
- Good presentation and meeting facilitation skills
- Good understanding of data, reporting and SQL
- Strong understanding of Agile and the role of the Scrum Master
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good judgment in identifying issues and recommending solutions
