Description:

*Reason for the Need:*

The group needs a resource to support the Accent application, which is a
proprietry suite with 15 desktop apps and a handful of portals
(ASP.NET).
The app also performs reporting with Crystal 8.5.

*Day to Day Responsibilities:*

The position is unique because the customers sit in the same building, and
communicate in a unique fashion. The resource will be working closely with
these customers. The customer will give a solution, rather than defined
requirements. They may offer codes and the resource will need to
persistently and professionally schedule a requirements gathering session
with that customer (possibly webex). The challenge is finding the
appropriate customer, scheduling the meeting despite pushback, and
gathering the requirements. The resource will be expected to build
relationships with this customer and gather a measurable picture of success
to carry out the changes being requested. The resource will also need to
send status updates on priority 1 incidents and execute a clear, concise
message to executives without being monitored.
