*Position Description:* The Software Developer is responsible for 
designing, developing and testing applications in support of the 
achievement of business requirements. The incumbent will work as part of 
a development team to address a variety of business needs. Developer is

*Required Knowledge/Skills:*


· Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information System, Computer 
Information Systems or related Degree required
· Solid knowledge of coding languages-.NET, C#, VB.net, ADO.net, VB 
Scripting, C++, JAVA, JavaScript and framework/systems-Angular JS, and Git
· Extensive experience with Software Design and development in a 
test-driven environment
· Relevant experience with databases and object-relational mapping (ORM) 
frameworks (ex: Hibernate)
· Ability to create ad hoc queries and be able to apply/understand 
advanced SQL concepts for Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases

· Understanding of Logical and Physical Data Models
· Ability to read and extract Data from XML
· Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
· Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of 
the applications

· Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

Understanding the core foundation

-Strong Web Services (REST and/or SOAP).  JSON is a plus.

-Strong unit testing ability.  Once our code is shipping to UAT, I expect
very little errors / defects unless it's a

scope change.

-TFS 2008 for source code management along with Subversion (SVN).

-Understand code review process and adhere to Coding Standards.

-Strong UI and Buiness Application Layer ideas, frameworks, etc.  For
frameworks - MVC preferred.  jQuery,

AJAX (Telerik controls is a plus) from a UI perspective.

-IIS understanding - from Application Pools, Web Site configuration, etc.
