*Direct Client:* *Looking for a Senior ServiceNow Architect* *Bethesda, MD or Remote Role* *6 Months Contract*
This is a ServiceNow specific Architecture role focused on the oversight and architectural guidance of the ServiceNow platform as well as enhancement related work. This role will work in conjunction with the ServiceNow platform team to support the platform including architectural assessments, solution design reviews, architectural governance policy and best practices for the platform, enhancement initiatives, configuration and customization, core and application build, upgrade, patch and testing activities. This position is heavily focused on technical expertise and scripting. Key Tasks: - Architectural guidance to ServiceNow developers and administrators - Review and assessment of ServiceNow solution designs - Development and management of platform governance policies and best practices - Develop Architecture designs to support key business outcomes and objectives - Develop and maintain a Strategic roadmap focused on business capability and platform capability alignment - Manage, maintain and develop ServiceNow Architecture and Integration designs - Provide expert opinion on customized solutions - Provide hands on guidance and expertise for the development of custom applications on the platform • General Support, Maintenance and administration of the ServiceNow platform and applications as required. This may include: - Configure ServiceNow to meet requirements regarding all platform applications - Manage and maintain platform environment management plan to maintain integrity of the ServiceNow instances (e.g. Path to production, update set standards, clone schedule) - Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each to meet requirements - Flag and escalate requirements requiring customization for decision making - Develop and maintain technical documentation required for operational sustainment - Support code promotion for monthly releases - Support development of test cases, scripts, data - Support ‘triaging’ of defects and issues during testing - Support planning and execution of UAT activities in conjunction with the ServiceNow team - Support daily operational request related to ServiceNow - Support Project or initiative requests related to ServiceNow - Support the transition of new IT Services by enabling the ServiceNow mechanisms required - Provide end user admin support as required (can require on-call support and nightly releases) Educational Requirements: - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a similar technical discipline or comparable experience - ServiceNow System Administrator Certification at a minimum.
