*Position: Storage Engineer/Administrator* *Duration: Long Term*
*Location: Lake Forest, IL* *Primary Skills* - 5-7 years of Strong experience in managing Windows server environment - Good communication Skills - Rotating on-call contact 24/7 for all system-wide issues involving infrastructure and storage environment. - Experience with NetApp storage systems ad DFM for management - Storage performance analytics with SAN & NAS - Liaison between Operation and internal departments responsible for maintaining system specific applications and databases while providing SAN and NAS storage. - Work with Application Engineers and Operational staff to allocate storage as necessary. - Report storage utilization and consumption including historical trending. - Maintaining storage hardware and software, including storage subsystems. - Ensuring data stored on enterprise storage subsystems is adequately protected from media, hardware or facility failure. - Managing the backup and recovery of data on storage subsystems using various backup and replication technologies - Ensure the highest levels of data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. - Responsible for ensuring the reliability of the storage environment. - Responsible for ensuring the integrity of replicated data. - Responsible for DR mirror site storage replication using native *NetApp features* - Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of storage network systems. - Perform other related duties as assigned by management. - Experience setting up *NetApp filers running Cluster-Mode* - Proven experience managing a storage environment in a lights-out data center operation. - Experience with *NetApp OnCommand* strongly desired Previous experience with *Storage Resource Management (SRM) tools*, Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) tools, Data Lifecycle Management is a plus. - Proven experience with Cisco SAN Switching environments Experience administering enterprise & mid-tier storage subsystems and understanding of concepts such as RAID configurations and remote storage replication. - Solid understanding of storage networking fundamentals, concepts, and components, including storage subsystems, SCSI, Fibre Channel, switches, iSCSI, HBAs, virtualization, zoning, LUN masking, LVM, etc. - *NetApp skills* - aggregate/volume/qtree provisioning, NFS/CIFS exports, snapmirror, DFM, NetApp OnCommand, snapshots, quotas, SAN LUN provisioning, filers *Certification* - NetApp Certified Data Administrator -- -- *Thanks & Regards,* *Veer Partap* *IT Recruiter* *Direct: 732-645-1917* *veerpartaphmgamer...@gmail.com <veerpar...@hmgamerica.com>* *www.hmgamerica.com <http://www.hmgamerica.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CorptoCorp" group.
