[Coworking] I Consider making a co-working space in Israel (probably in jerusalem)
The co-working space I consider making will also include incubation model for startup companies and alike by sharing precentage of the company to come and by having percentage of income from freelancing jobs the incubator will get for the participants. Anyone know about existing business models like this? Any other information and suggestions? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Coworking group. This is Chad from The Creative Space in Barrie Ontario, Canada. Check out our blogwww.thecreativespace.ca We will have been co-working here for about 1.5 years, but just recently took it a new level under the newly launched name the creative space. The 2nd floor wishes have been slowed due to lack of funds - so we're gunna pack em into our existing space of 1300 s/f. There are 10 of us in here and will be expanding to 14 permeant tenants. Designers, web developers, programers, photographers, video producers, marketing consultants, etc. I'll post some more pics, especially of the building and area. Most windows face a downtown park and the other view...Kemenfelt Bay! Thanks to all who post to this group. It's been so valuable to us. Lots of ideas and most of all - a community to let the na-sayers know, we're not crazy!! Well... maybe were a bit crazy. Cheers!! [Coworking] Re: I Consider making a co-working space in Israel (probably in jerusalem)
I was just in Jerusalem a couple of weeks ago, and really wanted to spend some time checking out the Israeli startup scene. I hear lots of great things! I'd love to have an excuse to spend more time in Israel, this sounds like it could be great. There are some fundamental differences between coworking and incubation, thats not to say that they can't co-exist though. Consider this post from last fall while doing your initial thinking about the blend: http://www.dangerouslyawesome.com/2008/09/14/rant-coworking-vs-incubator/ As well as this post from last spring: http://www.dangerouslyawesome.com/2008/05/29/add-equal-parts-business-and-culture-blend-until-smooth/ Cheers! -Alex -- - -- - Alex Hillman im always developing something digital: a...@weknowhtml.com helpful: www.unstick.me visual: www.dangerouslyawesome.com local: www.indyhall.org On Sat, Jul 25, 2009 at 3:39 PM, uri.gordon uri.gor...@gmail.com wrote: The co-working space I consider making will also include incubation model for startup companies and alike by sharing precentage of the company to come and by having percentage of income from freelancing jobs the incubator will get for the participants.
