Re: [Coworking] Access card control for users
Darryl, We use a Isonas key card access system at Office Nomads but we don't use it at all for billing. It's just an easy way to issue and revoke keys. For keeping track of folks, nothing beats having a human face right inside the door to say good morning. Re: [Coworking] NJ Coworking opening March 1, 2010
Hi Steve and congrads on opening Converge! I don't know if you have been in the group for a while or not but my name is Danielle Nicoli from WHERE: Meet, Mix, Mogul in Los Angeles. Jerome from Blackspaces and I are the two 'long-timers' here in LA, CA. While my members prefer writing checks for their business accounts I know Jerome has an amazing system that he can tell you about... On Sat, Jan 16, 2010 at 6:44 PM, ConvergeNJ coworkin...@gmail.com wrote: Hi fellow Coworkers! I'm so excited to announce that NJ's first Coworking space, Converge, will officially be opening on March 1, 2010. We'll be planning an open house / grand opening for shortly there after. Obviously, we've got lots of work to do in the next six weeks. The two biggest areas of support we're looking for is members and systems... Members - we've got a handful of extremely eager coworkers ready to ump right in and commit and another handful ready for part time coworking. We have a Meetup planned for the 28th of this month and are trying to get the word out. So please, if you can, spread the word about our NJ Coworking Meetup: http://www.meetup.com/Converge/calendar/12301638/ Systems - We're exploring tools to use for managing our membership, taking reservations, allowing online registration, etc. Obviously we can build something sexy, but that's a ton of time (aka money) that I don't know that we have right now. I've explored a few systems online taht might be decent options. And of course, there's the hobbled system of Google Cal, Excel, Paypal, etc. which would work for a little bit I'm sure. So my question to you all is this: What are you using to manage your membership and membership data? How do you manage your assets (rooms / desks, etc.)? What do you use for online registrations and reservations? Did you build your own? If so, do you offer it as a web based solution to others? Any input / support /recommendations would be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance, Steve -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Coworking group.
