[Coworking] The Coworking Europe 2012 conference takes place in Paris (November 8-9-10th )

2012-07-08 Thread JeanYves

Hello world coworking friends

We are happy to announce that the next Coworking Europe Conference will
take place in Paris on November 8-9-10th 2012 : www.coworkingeurope.net

We expect this year 300 attendees, coming from more than 30 different
countries.

As last year in Berlin, the aim of the conference is to put Coworking on
the radar of as many players as possible, to provide with an overview of
the genuine coworking offering in all its diversity, to keep building the
international coworking community as well as to share the best practices in
coworking space management.

Top speakers and stories are already confirmed (cfr our partner Deskmag's
article http://www.deskmag.com/en/350-million-for-a-coworking-world-capital).

We hope to meet many of you in Paris next fall.

Jean-Yves Huwart

Organizer Coworking Europe Conference (this year with the Paris Region)

PS : Although independent initiatives, the Coworking Europe conference and
the Austin GCUC conference http://www.austingcuc.com/2013 are
complementary, aiming to provide every six months the best insights about
the rise of coworking as well as to connect coworking operators and
catalysts from around the globe

Re: [Coworking] Vacation Coworking hotspots?

2012-07-08 Thread Julie Scanlon
Hi Aliza,

Have you picked a spot yet?

I say come to Southern California of course! I was born in Delaware,
I am ready for visitors from back home out here at Collab Space in
Costa Mesa. And it's just a little drive to LA where the community is
diverse and thriving.

 Hi everyone,

My husband and I might take a 5-6 day vacation this August, and I was
wondering if you have suggestions for fun cities that also have several
fantastic coworking communities we could visit. Thoughts?

(And thank you to those of you who voted in our logo poll!)

[Coworking] Coworking Workshop Live! in Sydney this Thursday

2012-07-08 Thread Alex Hillman
It's been a few months since my last coworking workshop, mostly because I've
been working on a new, improved version that's less lecture and much more
interactive. A special thank you to those of you who've been
involved in that process so far!

I'm excited that my next workshop will be two firsts:

1) it's live and in-person!
2) it's on the other side of the world (well, relatively from where I usually
hang out)!

I've gotten a number of requests over the last year for more time-zone options,
and this is the first chance I've had to do something in the Oceania/South
Pacific time zones. This is entirely thanks to the founding team of Sydney's
newest coworking jam, TheWorkben.ch (http://theworkben.ch/), who've brought me
to Australia for the first time for their opening party this Friday.

For those in Sydney or within a reasonable distance, I'd like to invite you to
join us for an intimate group workshop on Thursday, July 12th here at
TheWorkbench and then join us at TheWorkbench's opening party on Friday
evening. Additionally, this workshop a valuable way to connect better with the
coworking shared workspace leaders around Australia, so I invite you to be a
part of growing that community as well.

Details Ticketing: https://indyhall.stagehq.com/events/1588

In the coming months there will be more on-location workshops a new and
improved version of the virtual class. Sign up for early-access announcements
discounts on this list:
http://indyhall.us4.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=fb0fa92e5dca45a8ec5d4dfe1id=3b579bc08e

As always, all alumni of workshops get early and discounted access to future
events materials too.

Again, thanks to everyone who's supported these workshops over the last year
and I look forward to meeting more of the coworking community in Australia this
week!

-Alex
