Amen, and lots of respect for this tough decision. From reading the comments
it's clear that the community you've built will live on, and has had a huge
impact on Berlin.

I'm thankful to have had an opportunity to visit co.up myself way back when
CoworkingEurope conference was I'm Berlin.

Thanks for all you've shared, and I'm glad to know that this is more of a
metamorphosis than a goodbye :)

[Coworking] Re: What Coworking Management Software do you love & which give you nightmares?

2017-09-21 Thread Jana Greer - Venture X
Hey Stephanie!

I totally understand your position. It seems endless hours can be spent on
research of software and then testing--possibly finding out it doesn't work
for you.

We spent a long time searching for a member management software and picked
Nexudus a year and a half ago.

There are several posts on this board about Nexudus. We have be pleased
with their customer service--every email is hand typed not auto reply. They
help you consistently and respond quickly.
We are a franchise and we chose this software over others for its
reputation (lots of things out there about them) and for the ability to
customize and do what we needed as a franchise.
Nexudus gives you a back end (staff) and a front end (members). Booking
calendar, automatic invoices, large payment gateway selection, works in all
countries (meaning lots of currencies). I could go on.

Their CRM needs work, it doesn't flow and function the best, so we use
Pipedrive--which is wonderful. They know their CRM isn't the best--and will
continue to develop it.

There is a lot of integrations available as well.

Take the time to get a trial and talk to them--its worth it!

Best!

Jana

We also traded a lengthy legalese agreement for something that focuses
simply on covering the bases on our mutual expectations. The structure is

[Coworking] Join in European Freelancers Week

2017-09-21 Thread Joel Dullroy
Hi Coworking Spaces of Europe!

*European Freelancers Week *is happening October 7-15, 2017. It's an open
distributed conference for all freelancers. Anyone can propose an event
that brings freelancers together to learn, share and improve their
independent careers.
Last year many coworking spaces took part by organizing an event on site.
It's a great opportunity to get your community together.

There are a few ways you can take part:

*- Host an event.* It's really easy. Just pick a date, a topic and submit
it to the #EFWeek website: http://freelancersweek.org/events-map-2017/

*- Print a poster.* We have A4 and A3 posters ready to download and put on
your wall. We're even giving a prize to do so! You could win a five night
voucher at Coconat Workation Retreat near
Berlin: http://freelancersweek.org/print-poster-win-retreat/

*- Share a tweet. *Here's one we made earlier!: European Freelancers Week
is on Oct 7-15. Join in to boost your independent career! #EFWeek
@FreelancersEU www.freelancersweek.org

Coworking and freelancers are mutually dependent. Let's help each other
thrive!

*Joel & European Freelancers Week team*
*Supported by European Coworking Assembly, Coworking Europe Conference,
EFIP & more*
