[Coworking] Re: New Coworking Operator using Nexudus

2018-05-13 Thread Jana Greer
Onboarding is a bit of a process when you have a space already functioning —as
we did—and are fitting how you run into a system. After much testing and
research we landed with Nexudus and even have searched again and have found it
to be the best -just for coworking spaces.

After over two year using the software, there is a learning period for sure. I
have found that as I have learned how they intend it to function, I am able to
work the system to it’s best within how we operate as a space. But that takes
time and can be frustrating when you want something done now.
Support has been helpful and we have worked with Adrian directly quite often.
Having direct access to the co-founder is pretty nice!
I am excited to see the backend update that is coming out. The member front end
update was very nice.
I am not a coder but we do have members who code and they have been helpful
when we have asked how to modify things.
I’d love to know if there are groups that are just Nexudus users—that would be
pretty cool!

[Coworking] Re: New Coworking Operator using Nexudus

2018-07-07 Thread Jana Greer
What integrations does your space need? Nexudus has many different
integrations that you can use and you can also hire someone do
build/connect in the API--custom is not supported by Nexudus team however
so you'll need to have the support from the person who builds whatever
portion out too.

Hi! We have used Nexudus for over 2 years and have found it the best option
for our space. They have been around for 6 years and it is built for
coworking spaces. Pleased with their support and continued development.

Re: [Coworking] Re: Nexudus pluses and minuses

2018-07-17 Thread Jana Greer
Hey!

We have 5 different membership optione, including private office.

We were pretty involved in the buildout of our space site which then helped us
gain understanding of how the software works and what we needed to adjust to
work with how the software functioned. Adrian and the support team are very
helpful! It’s great to have a software that is made for coworking spaces.

Entering a new member doesn’t take long at all. The capabilities of Nexudus are
vast and we have multiple locations open with more opening—members can go to
other locations and be charged for usage in that space without being entered
again.

I will also add, that before we made the choice we tested and researched out
other options. Research/testing takes a lot of time — but well worth it to know
that you’re picking what’s best.

Please feel free to email me directly if you have more questions.

[Coworking] Opus Virtual Offices

2018-10-29 Thread Jana Greer
Hey! I have experience with Opus. My suggestion would be to compare how much
they pay you for one of their clients versus how much you charge for a VO
membership. If it is a vast difference, I would condsider it not the best deal.
Mail handling can be difficult and with partner referral you may not ever meet
the client—they cancel and still use your address. I ran into that more often
with them.

[Coworking] Re: VIdeo Conferencing Hardware

2018-11-29 Thread Jana Greer
Hi!
What we found works well is a mini PC hooked up behind the TV with a web camera
connected and fixed on top of the tv with a full view (as much as possible) of
the room.
This allows anyone to come in and log into their platform of choice. The PC has
our admin log in and then a guest log in with mouse and keyboard put on the
center of the table for quick grab.
Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

[Coworking] Help - with new website

2019-01-04 Thread Jana Greer
Hi! What was the negative feedback from Nexudus on your integration?

I personally don’t have experience with doing that integration , but do have
experience with Nexudus.
I believe you have to hire your own developer to integrate your website and
Nexudus. It’s not something they (Nexudus) does for you. Hiring a developer,
they can integrate and change things for you to customize it. That is a big
value in this type of software, as well as all the automated billing, and
member front end for community.

Cheers,
Jana

[Coworking] Member Business Licenses

2019-01-04 Thread Jana Greer
I am sorry you are dealing with that. I would consult an attorney. You are
offering a membership and are not responsible for how they operate their own
businesses. Whoever is going after the members can go after their businesses
not you.
I have had experience with regulatory organizations coming in to check on a
business—that wasn’t doing business according to the way it should but it did
not affect our space.

Cheers,
Jana

Re: [Coworking] Re: Printing - Cloud Solution?

2019-01-22 Thread Jana Greer
Eric,

I believe it was launched with Xerox machines for testing.

Not sure when Konica Minolta and others would be in testing.

Not being able to track copies through ezeep which then feeds into Nexudus for
billing made the value of it less for us as staff. We still had to pull the
account track report and bill manually.

Re: [Coworking] Co-Working Membership Software?!?!? HAAAAALP!!

2019-02-08 Thread Jana Greer
Whatever software you choose, choose one that scales with your growth and has
the capacity to integrate and manage many things. From an operation
standpoint, the more you can connect and streamline the members experience the
better, IMO.

I think one pain point is the backend. It is being redone and should be out by
the summer. The front end was redone a while ago and it was awesome when that
was released—-making the members experience even better.

Best of luck!

[Coworking] Re: Feedback/thoughts on Occupie Essensys

2017-08-11 Thread Jana Greer - Venture X
Wendy,

Thank you for replying!

Have you only used Occupie or did you transfer from another software? As I
understand it, Essensys just bought Hubcreate in 2016 that then became
Occupie.
So pretty young for the newly formed company.

The cost seems so high verses other options. We are currently using
Nexudus and have been super pleased with the services and software since
implementation over a year and half ago.

The CRM is one thing that we were looking at--we recently started using
Pipedrive and it can be integrated in with Nexudus (haven't done it yet).
How do you find that the flow works for you and team? I'm primarily
responsible for new members/leads etc. So this is important to me for
comparison.

Do you all use all of their features ie network management, phone, door
systems, etc?

[Coworking] Re: Feedback/thoughts on Occupie Essensys

2017-08-11 Thread Jana Greer - Venture X
Ashely,

Thank you very much for replying!

So for your 26 locations, are they franchise or solely owned?
Do your locations' members have access to the other locations as they
travel? How does that translate within each space--looking the member up,
charging day passes or other charges etc?

The price at $500 per space seems quite a bit verses other platforms. Do
you feel like that cost is fully worth it?

Ashley,

Thank you again for replying. We are a franchise and need to be able to
have members be charged at other spaces and have that revenue go to that

Cost is a consideration as this is something we have as an expense for

[Coworking] Re: What Coworking Management Software do you love & which give you nightmares?

2017-09-21 Thread Jana Greer - Venture X
Hey Stephanie!

I totally understand your position. It seems endless hours can be spent on
research of software and then testing--possibly finding out it doesn't work
for you.

We spent a long time searching for a member management software and picked
Nexudus a year and a half ago.

There are several posts on this board about Nexudus. We have be pleased
with their customer service--every email is hand typed not auto reply. They
help you consistently and respond quickly.
We are a franchise and we chose this software over others for its
reputation (lots of things out there about them) and for the ability to
customize and do what we needed as a franchise.
Nexudus gives you a back end (staff) and a front end (members). Booking
calendar, automatic invoices, large payment gateway selection, works in all
countries (meaning lots of currencies). I could go on.

Their CRM needs work, it doesn't flow and function the best, so we use
Pipedrive--which is wonderful. They know their CRM isn't the best--and will
continue to develop it.

There is a lot of integrations available as well.

Take the time to get a trial and talk to them--its worth it!

Best!

Jana

Alanna,

Hi. We tested out Cobot for our space but decided it did not work well as
Kyle mentioned below.

We have been using Nexudus for over a year and are super pleased with it as
well as the customer service. I'd highly recommend it.

Cheers,

Re: [Coworking] Cobot + Squarespace

2017-10-16 Thread Jana Greer - Venture X
With Nexudus, non-members have the ability to log in and access your
conference room calendar and book online.
If you have someone walk in and want to book, you create a user account
after gathering their info, and then book the room.

Charges are then completed in Nexudus as well. Nexudus offers a complete
solution which we have preferred over using all different types of
programs.

Cheers,

Jana

[Coworking] Re: Network, Server, Authentication Recommendations

I'm not tech savvy, but I sent a link to this to our tech company--

We use Nexudus and love it. However we do not use the Wifi Access that
links to it.

For public PC i would just set up an admin and then a guest log in that way
it keeps people from changing things.

Best wishes,

We have done the same before with punch cards. It creates a value but also
allows them to use the days within a year of purchase.
Also, from a revenue standpoint it is better long term to have that upfront

Hey Tiffany,

Loved the interview on Nexudus. Do you have any updated feedback that you
can share?

[Coworking] Feedback/thoughts on Occupie Essensys

2018-02-15 Thread Jana Greer - Venture X
Thank you to those spaces who have responded to me privately. Feedback is so
important on how software runs. If anyone else doesn’t want to make their info
public please feel free to message me privately or email at j...@venturex.com.
Have a great day!!

[Coworking] Member access when ownership/management is not there

2018-02-26 Thread Jana Greer - Venture X
Hi!

If your goal is to have certain levels of memberships have 24/7 access, I would
recommend have a camera system installed if you don’t have one already. This
not only gives you some peace of mind—with remote access etc—but also gives
members a sense of security. Simple background checks on new members as well as
having a solid membership agreement that protects you as a space from liability
of any members lost/stolen items.
The agreement on top of reasonable security measures will protect you fully
from any legal grounds—unless gross negligence.

[Coworking] New Coworking Operator using Nexudus

2018-05-01 Thread Jana Greer - Venture X
Hi! We have been using Nexudus for about 2 years. The software can do so much,
a lot depends on how your space is set up. Nexudus support is great and even if
I feel like I am asking something so simple they have been helpful.

You can email me personally if you’d like and I will see how I can help.

I don’t know of any groups—but that would be cool.
