Dear all,

Another bump on this email. Many of you who have indicated that you intend to
come and want to stay at the event hotel have already written to them to
confirm your interest. Thank you!

It is a big help if everyone who is interested to stay there contacts the hotel
(details in the last email on this thread) as soon as you can to indicate that
you do indeed want to come, how many days, which days and your chosen room
type. They in any case will not charge you or require any financial information
at this time. They will simply make a note of it and send you a payment link in
the summer (August I believe).

Best,

George

Dear all,

We are pleased to announce that we have found the venue for the "59th CIDOC CRM
& 52nd FRBR/LRMoo SIG Meeting" that will be hosted by Takin.solutions in
Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

The venue for the meeting will be Hotel Imperial
Plovdiv.

If you are interested in staying at the venue hotel, please read the following
information carefully and act on it.

Hotel Imperial Plovdiv is an attractive and comfortable venue with nice
facilities which we hope will be a great environment for working together on
advancing the CIDOC CRM and its extensions as an international standard for
semantic data creation and management. The conference room has full audio
visual and wifi facilities which should enable us to host a hybrid meeting,
though we hope to welcome as many of you as possible to the beautiful city of
Plovdiv, for productive ontology conversations and a great foody nightlife.

As part of arranging this venue for the event, we were able to secure more
advantageous prices for SIG members who are interested in staying at the venue.
The following are the relevant rates and features of the hotel:

Rooms:

1. Standard Single room - 129 BGN per night

2. Standard Double room - 164 BGN per night

3. Premium Single room - 153 BGN per night

4. Premium Double room - 188 BGN per night

If you think of prices in Euro, take that number and divide it roughly in two.

All room prices include:

·Breakfast,

·Parking,

·Fitness,

·Wifi,

·Press reader (magazines and newspapers)

·Wellness zone (unlimited usage of different saunas, jacuzzi,
relaxation zone and more)

Check in 15:00 pm

Check out: 12:00 pm

At present the hotel is holding up to 25 rooms for participants who want to
stay at the hotel and take advantage also of the above rates. If you want to
book at the hotel at these rates, please contact:
events.imperialplov...@radissonindividuals.com
 ccing vesselina@takin.solutions and
george@takin.solutions between now and the end
of May to reserve your room and make your payment / deposit. After that time
they may stop holding these rooms at a better rate for us. In your email please
include that the booking is for the SIG Meeting hosted by Takin.solutions, so
they know for which event you are coming.

Participants in the SIG are obviously free to choose to stay where they like in
the city and there are probably many great airbnbs and other hotels which you
could stay at if you prefer. There is no obligation to stay at this venue if
you are coming but want to stay elsewhere.

Looking forward to seeing you in Plovdiv.

Best,

George

Dear all,

Thank you for your input on your attendance plans for the SIG planned for this
fall in Plovdiv. Currently we have +-15 certain attendees. Based on this
information, we are contacting the potential venues for the meeting both to
book our meeting room but also to seek out potential better room rates if we
book under a group rate at one hotel. Once we have solid feedback from that, we
will contact those who have indicated that they are certainly coming with more
information and to seek feedback on whether you are interested in staying at
the group rate hotel. We will of course not proceed with any booking without
seeking your input.

Of course, we are still many months away from the meeting, so if you haven't
indicated that you are coming and are still interested in the group rate or
just to let us know that you are or aren't coming, please do add yourself to
the list above.

Best,

George

Dear all,
During our last meeting, we didn't get to review Martin's HW

 for issue 490. It was
decided that Martin's proposal to introduce property Pxxx has complete copy (is
complete copy of) would be put to an e-vote instead.

Please indicate your agreement or provide feedback by May 20.

All the best,

Re: [Crm-sig] Issue 656 Homework

The “However, ” implies that this is an exception to the statement “It
addresses spatial containment only and does not imply any relationship between
things or phenomena occupying these places.”, which it is not.
I would suggest that this is removed: so the addition reads:-
This property is also part of the fully developed path implied by P7 took place
at (witnessed), from E4 Period through P161 has spatial projection, E53 Place,
P89 falls within to E53 Place, where both places are defined in the same
geometric system.

Subject: [Crm-sig] Issue 656 Homework

Dear all,

I suggest the following addition to the scope note of P89, in yellow:

P89 falls within (contains)

Domain:

E53 Place

Range:

E53 Place

Quantification:

many to many, necessary, dependent (1,n:0,n)

Scope note:

This property identifies an instance of E53 Place that falls wholly within the
extent of another instance of E53 Place.

It addresses spatial containment only and does not imply any relationship
between things or phenomena occupying these places.

However, this property is also part of the fully developed path implied by P7
took place at (witnessed), from E4 Period through P161 has spatial projection,
E53 Place, P89 falls within to E53 Place, where both places are defined in the
same geometric system.

This property is transitive and reflexive.

Examples:

The area covered by the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge (E53) falls within
the area of Salisbury Plain (E53). (Pryor, 2016)

In first-order logic:

P89(x,y) ⇒ E53(x)

P89(x,y) ⇒ E53(y)

[P89(x,y) ∧ P89(y,z)] ⇒ P89(x,z)

P89(x,x)
