Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Luna RC3 repository is available

2014-06-09 Thread Kaloyan Raev
Thanks for the clarification, David! I did not realize this process
involves manual steps by so many people.

However, the package is still not listed on the download page. The epp-dev
list does not maintain an archive so I cannot check what happened there
(I've just subscribed).

Finally, I opened a bug:

I think they were just waiting for the +1 from the package maintainer, on

For future reference, the epp-dev list might be slightly better list for
such questions ... but this list is ok too.

 Hope that helps,

I don't see the PHP package at

 http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/index-developer.php

I remember it was there as RC2 package.

The direct download links work correctly, e.g.

 https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downloads/release/luna/RC3/eclipse-php-luna-RC3-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz

It is just not available on the download page. Any idea what went wrong?

2014-06-09 Thread Bob Brodt
Hi Wayne,

I'm pretty sure I submitted IP logs for BPEL Designer and BPMN2 Modeler for the
Luna simrel, but have not received the approved copies. were they not emailed
to me, or did I just miss them?

Thanks for following up on this.

 Greetings folks.

We're now one week past the due date for IP Logs. A couple of projects have
contacted us to request extensions (generally because they're still waiting
 on some CQ approvals).

But I've not heard (or I've lost the communication thread) from three
 projects.

If you've connected with us, and we've lost track of the conversation, I
 apologise.

AFAICT, there are no significant outstanding IP issues with any of these
projects; all you need to do is push the button. Let us know if you need
 assistance.

Remember that the deadline for provide us with your PMC-approved review
documentation is due on Wednesday, June 4. Note that you can request PMC
review/approval while the IP Team reviews/approves your IP Log in parallel.

We need your IP Logs ASAP.

2014-06-09 Thread Wayne Beaton

BPMN2 was the only project that needed an IP Log or a release review.

Both BPEL Designer and BPMN2 Modeler are contributing service releases
and so do not require IP Log reviews.

FWIW, I did respond to your submission of these IP Logs for review; I'll
forward that response to you.

Oops!! I think there was a miscommunication somewhere along the line. The BPMN2
Modeler for Luna will be version 1.1.0 - a minor release because of breaking
API changes. Is there enough time to do a release review? If not, what are the
alternatives?

Sorry for the confusion,

[cross-project-issues-dev] Status and outlook for RC4 ... BIRT repo missing

2014-06-09 Thread David M Williams
I had to disabled BIRT, since the repo referenced in their b3aggrcon file
no longer exists (and that in turn caused me to have to disable MAT).

I sent an email (just 10 minutes ago) and got no reply, assume no one is
actively fixing the issue, so I disabled BIRT and opened bug 437006.

Please re-enable as soon as you can, with corrected repo.

2014-06-09 Thread David M Williams
 please re-enable the build.

Can you please explain why I should? That is, why don't you?
To dwell on this a bit ... it's pretty bad to break the build this late
in the cycle, with only a two days left before the final build ... and I
already went out of my way to allow others to build, until you had time
and ability to fix things. So ... it only seems polite that you would be
the one to take responsibility to re-enable your own contribution and,
even, MAT's.

All that said, if you really do need help for some reason, I'd be glad to.
Please document the reasons in Bug 437006 and I'd be glad to help.

Thanks,
