[cross-project-issues-dev] m2e 1.6 M4 using staged Maven 3.2.5

2014-12-16 Thread Fred Bricon
Hi,

FYI, we're planning on releasing m2e 1.6M4 by the end of the day,
containing the currently staged Maven 3.2.5. Its release has not officially
been voted yet [1], but there's 99,99% chances (according to an unnamed
Maven committer) it will be released on thursday.
Since that would be too late for m2e to pick it up and we already missed M3
because there was no Maven release available at the time, I believe it
would be really sad to miss the M4 window, given all the fixes and
improvements that went in [2].
Worst case scenario, Maven 3.2.5 isn't released, and there'll be a 3.2.6
instead, m2e can live with that until M5, in 7 weeks.

I am seeing some spurious Bugzilla edits recorded by the
error-reports-in...@eclipse.org account this morning. Could someone associated
with this account take a look?

Thanks,

2014-12-16 Thread Denis Roy

Actually, Marcel can we

a) update the name of the account to something more descriptive, like
Recommenders Error Reports

b) Improve the signature. In addition to "Your friendly error reports
bot." perhaps add a link with information and a link on how to remove
the functionality from a bugzilla project?

Thanks!

Also c) where to report issues with the error reporter

Note that in this case, the bug has no stack traces in it, so the error
reporter is glitching.

I thought the reporter was self-aware, and would report its own errors.

Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] [Bug 332258] Need better way to specify @NoDuplicates for list properties

2014-12-16 Thread Marcel Bruch
Hi,

Bug 455361 was created for this issue. This was caused by a set of “testing”
error reports that were initially reported to the “testing" bugzilla
unfortunately, I did not clean up these reports properly. This will be
addressed by the end of this week. Sorry for the inconvenience these “This
error has been reported 25 times” may have caused.

> a) update the name of the account to something more descriptive, like
> Recommenders Error Reports

Changed.

> b) Improve the signature. In addition to "Your friendly error reports bot."
> perhaps add a link with information

The signature of every report contains a reference to the manual:
" Please visit http://goo.gl/MWFSff for further details. “

Let me know if there is something missing and should be added to the manual .

> and a link on how to remove the
> functionality from a bugzilla project?

Sorry, I don’t know what yet you refer to here. There is no project “added” or
“removed”. All reports are send to the error reports bugzilla component and
from there are dispatched *manually* to projects. The cause of this email
thread was “an accident in the testing environment”.

> Also c) where to report issues with the error reporter

The manual (referenced in the bugs and mentioned above) contains a section
about where to report issues.

> I thought the reporter was self-aware, and would report its own errors.

Yes, it reports it’s own errors (if it recognizes them as such).

[cross-project-issues-dev] Missing download artifacts for Equinox Mars M4

2014-12-16 Thread Konstantin Komissarchik
It looks like Equinox Mars M4 build is missing various artifacts that should
be in the build, such as the equinox-SDK-MarsM4.zip file.

This is blocking some projects from being able to move to M4 and contribute
to M4.
