[cross-project-issues-dev] Batik 1.9.1 bundles available (for BIRT, Graphiti, TM4E)

As of Orbit's (upcoming) contribution to Photon M7, we should have the
full Batik stack we used to have for 1.6/1.7, and quite a few more
available in 1.9.1. For now, there's an I-build [1] that can be used to
test them out. From a look through the Photon release repository, it
seems like BIRT, GMF, Graphiti, Papyrus, Sirius, and TM4E all use the
older versions of Batik (1.6 or 1.7).

>From the discussion in the bug [2], GMF, Papyrus, and Sirius are likely
to adopt the new version. Does BIRT, Graphiti, and TM4E intend to do so
as well ? The hope was to eliminate 1.6 and 1.7 entirely but given how
close this comes to M7, we might have to keep them in if adoption is
not possible for all projects.

[cross-project-issues-dev] Moving all repos to Gerrit.

Hi Everyone,

  Just to let you all know I'm planning to move all repositories under
Gerrits control on June 4, 2018.  Bug 533786 has been filed to track the
work and provide a place for any discussions.

Basically our current setup is a bit of a mess with ownership being divided
between Gerrit. CI-users and project teams.  As such it's time for a clean
up.

If you have any questions or concerns let me know

Our bandwidth was all consumed.

After looking into it, the transparent mirror mechanism was operating in
Fail Safe mode by letting download.e.o serve everything it was asked to
serve (requests to the website's mirror locator were unaffected). I've
cleared the condition, so things should speed up now.

The condition would have (eventually) cleared itself up once
download.e.o would have regained confidence in its mirrors.

Yes, I too am getting timeouts on large artifacts when trying to resolve 
a target platform with the platform's IBuild in Berlin. And I'm quite 
sure IBuilds aren't mirrored so it's not a bad/slow mirror but rather 
download.eclipse.org itself.

Note sure whether it's related but download speed from download.eclipse.org
to my machine in France is extremely slow (a few kB/s).
I didn't noticed such slowness with any other website today, so I think
download.eclipse.org or its mirrors are in a bad mood too and may need some
assistance.

http://status.eclipse.org/ says everything is fine, but 
https://wiki.eclipse.org/, https://ci.eclipse.org/ and others do not 
respond from here (France), or at least are very very slow. Gerrit 
(https://git.eclipse.org/r/) seems OK though.

I just noticed that marketplace.eclipse.org cannot be reached over HTTPS
(Time Out). HTTP works fine, though.
