[cross-project-issues-dev] Git version update to 2.18.0

2018-09-05 Thread Frederic Gurr
Hi,

As announced last week
(https://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/cross-project-issues-dev/msg15947.html)
Git has been updated to version 2.18.0 on all hipp machines. This
affects all JIPPs on the "old" (non-CJE) infra.

Unfortunately, there were some short interruptions during the update,
but it should be fixed now.

Please let us know, if anything does not work as expected after this update.

Regards,

Fred

This should be resolved in the upcoming Orbit RC2 contribution. Nick
requested lucene-queryparser 7.1 not long ago (I believe for DTP).
AFAICT only, org.eclipse.datatools.sqltools.result is requiring it so
once they rebuild, it should no longer cause issues.

Cheers,

no, but it doesn't happen for the Java EPP package (checked using "ss |
grep INSTALLED" in the OSGi console), so that should help you narrow it
down somewhat.

At orbit-dev, we also have, so from the above qualifier it looks like
someone is not contributing the latest and greatest from Orbit.

Hope that helps.

Best wishes,

Andreas

[cross-project-issues-dev] JGit/EGit contribution to 2018-09 RC1 blocked by missing git on JGit and EGit Jenkins

2018-09-05 Thread Matthias Sohn
Hi,

it seems git went missing on our Jenkins servers, I filed
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=538660
to track the problem.

This means our contribution to 2018-09 RC1 is blocked currently

This looks like https://bugs.eclipse.org/538546

What other bundles are not resolving?

[cross-project-issues-dev] massive amount of unresolved bundles in 2018-09 M3 (JEE package)

2018-09-05 Thread Martin Lippert
Hey!

When I download 2018-09-M3 JEE package for macOS and run it, I get massive
amounts of bundles being installed, but not resolved.
Most of these things seem to go back to:

org.apache.lucene.queryparser_7.1.0.v20180828-2118

having issues to resolve a package import for “org.apache.lucene.document”.

Any idea what is going wrong here?

Cheers,
-Martin
