[cross-project-issues-dev] LDT participation in 2018-09 simrel

2018-07-12 Thread Simon Bernard

Hi all,

LDT will participate in the 2018-09 SimRel, with offset +3.

The version contributed will be the latest 1.4.x maintenance release.
(The current 1.4.2 or a 1.4.3 if needed).

Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] SimRel - TM contribution has been disabled

2018-02-08 Thread Simon Bernard

Hi,

Sry for the delay, I re-enabled LDT removing ldt.remote feature which
depends on RSE.

So this should be ok for photon M6.

I'm a bit confuse. Will RSE be reintegrated or is  it officially and
definitely not part of Photon ?

Thx,

Simon

Hi,

Thanks to Kaloyan, Dawid and Eugene for fixing and re-enabling the
contributions of DLTK, PDT and TCF.

The only contribution missing is LDT.
Since it's already past the +3 window, LDT will miss Photon M5.
Hopefully they can rejoin for M6.

Regards,

Fred

Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Declaring Eclipse Photon participation

2017-10-31 Thread Simon Bernard

I plan to ship LDT 1.4.2 with Photon (offset +3):
https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools.ldt/releases/1.4.2

Le 15/09/2017 à 21:01, Wayne Beaton a écrit :

I believe that I have captured all of the declarations to date.

https://projects.eclipse.org/releases/photon

If your project is listed without a release, then I couldn't find it
at the time. At your earliest convenience, please ensure that a
release record exists and tell me about it.

Note that declaring participation in Photon is separate from having an
active aggregator file. You may well have bits being pushed into the
aggregate repository today based on your project's participation in
the Eclipse Oxygen release, but this does not constitute a declaration
of participation. You still need to declare participation in Photon
before M4 on December 15/17.

This process exists to ensure that project teams are paying attention
and are actively involved in this communication channel.

About a month before M4, I will start the process of connecting with
project teams haven't declared yet, because...

Warning: immediately following M4, we'll start disabling the
aggregation files for those projects that have not declared. Things
will start breaking shortly thereafter.

Links and more information can be found on the Photon wiki page.

https://wiki.eclipse.org/Category:Photon

Please be sure to create the release record and include it in your
note when you declare participation.

Thanks,

Wayne

[cross-project-issues-dev] LDT participation to Oxygen

2017-02-07 Thread Simon Bernard
Sry for the late declaration, if it's still possible, the LDT project
will participate in the Eclipse Oxygen simultaneous release with an
offset of +3.

This will be with the 1.4.1 :

Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] LDT repo doesn't exist for Neon_maintenance

Hi,
Sry about that, you fixed it in a right way.
Thx Jeff.

The ldt repo specified in ldt.b3aggricon for the Neon_maintenance release
specifies
http://download.eclipse.org/ldt/releases/milestones/1.4M3 which doesn't
currently exist.

It appears possibly that an ldt aggregation has wiped out the milestones
directory as the
composites have no children.

I have modified it temporarily to releases/stable/1.4 so that the aggregation
would
validate locally and pass for gerrit. I have cc'd all the ldt maintainers
listed above.

Could one of the LDT folks fix this if necessary to a milestone release or else
confirm
that it should be as I have modified it?

Thanks,

Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Any RSE dependencies in Neon?

2015-12-14 Thread Simon Bernard

The "Lua Remote Development Support" feature of LDT project use it.
I don't know if this one is used a lot. The eclipse stats say that this
feature was download around 13000 times since Mars release.

Are there any projects that have a dependency on Remote System Explorer (RSE)

Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] DLTK in Luna RC4

2014-06-13 Thread Simon Bernard

LDT (Koneki) depends on DLTK.

We never test it on DLTK 5.1. (We never found a repository to test it,
it seems available since June 11th or 12th)

There no problem for us to go with DLTK 5.0. It seems more reasonable.

Some threads to show we try to avoid that :

Greetings folks.

We noticed that DTLK updated their aggregation file only just this
week to point at their 5.1 bits. Too late, I'm afraid to make it into
the RC4 build (which currently includes their 2013 "5.0" bits) and EPP
packages.

Which Luna projects consume DLTK? (PDT and who else?)

Have you been testing on DLTK 5.1?

Are you good-to-go with DTLK 5.0?

What are our options?

Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] DLTK in Luna ?

2014-05-07 Thread Simon Bernard
We still got no answer about DLTK integration in Luna.
Currently, in SimRel, DLTK is only at v5.0.0 (Kepler version).
Hoping, we will not face last-minute compatibility problems.

[cross-project-issues-dev] DLTK in Luna ?

2014-04-18 Thread Simon Bernard
Hi,
I have few questions about the next dltk integration in
Luna :
Does an update site exist to test the next version of DLTK (5.1)?
Currenlty, there still are the dltk 5.0 version, do you plan to
integrate a development version of DLTK (5.1) for M7 of Luna ?
Thx.

Koneki-LDT is at offset +3 (based on DLTK which should be at +2)
