Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] repo.eclipse.org maintenance on January 19th

2020-01-20 Thread Mikael Barbero
Please try again by restarting your job from scratch (ie not just a module,
some bad caching could be involved, e.g., see
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=559326#c7).

If you still face an issue, please open a separate ticket so we can investigate
without spamming everyone on this list.

Thanks.

2020-01-20 Thread Ed Willink

Hi

The 'old' ci.eclipse.org seems to have gone down.

While trying to investigate weird failures that started yesterday [1], I
now get catastrophic start up [2].

As note on the associated ticket, and unrelated to the repo.eclipse.org
maintenance, we've been having a failing proxy node
in our reverse proxy pool for the last 2 days. This node has not been
automatically removed from the pool for some reasons. As such, 1/3 of the
requests directed to the cluster were timing out. It was mostly affecting
Jenkins instances on the new infra and help.eclipse.org
.

Internal DNS are note yet updated, so builds on Jenkins are still seeing 503
while https://repo.eclipse.org is up and running.

Will keep you posted once everything is back to normal.
