Re: [CsMain] Reg: Introduction to Crystal Space
Hi Christian and Ulf, Thanks for your replies. I have had a look at the last year's GSoC projects and some of them look quite interesting. I plan to analyse them in detail once I am comfortable with CS and it's overall structure. Currently I am looking at the tutorials and documentation, and noting down ideas to improve them. I shall pitch in my suggestions on this list in the weeks to come. :) Regards, Kshitij On Sat, Feb 8, 2014 at 12:30 AM, Ulf the Moose wrote: > I will make myself available to help with graphic assets if needed for > GSOC projects. Re: [CsMain] Reg: Introduction to Crystal Space
I will make myself available to help with graphic assets if needed for GSOC projects. I can't commit a 100% effort, but can certainly help if a specific asset cannot be found, or if specific asset needs to be modified. Re: [CsMain] Reg: Introduction to Crystal Space
Hi and sorry for this late answer, if you plan to do a GSOC, then you can have a look at the GSOC idea page: http://www.crystalspace3d.org/trac/CS/wiki/SoC%20Ideas This list has not been updated since the last GSOC, but this can give you an idea of the last topics that were worked on. Some of these topics have still not been addressed, and many others are still welcoming improvements. If you want to familiarize yourself with CS as well as being helpful for the project, then one way to do it would be to try to improve the demos and tutorials or the documentation. The csbias and csisland demos for example have a lot of room for improvements, and there are a bunch of ideas listed for them at http://www.crystalspace3d.org/trac/CS/wiki/Demo%20and%20Test%20apps. If you find some topic that you are interested in, then you can ask on this mailing list for more information on the actual work needed.
